Twitter user @riskyfcb_ created a video that compiles highlights from Yamal’s performance and after the game, Barcelona manager Xavi. spoke of the youngster in his post-match press conference, with Fabrizio Romano revealing Xavi’s words to Lamal: The Spaniard hailed the player as a ‘special’ talent after the final whistle.
“Lamine Jamal did a great job, I told him to try different things. And he did. At 15, imagine…” Xavi said. “He almost scored. He’s an extraordinary player. He has self-confidence. He has shown what he can do. He’s fearless and he’s very talented ′′ He’s playing well beyond his 15 years and he’s ready to play in the first team ′′ He can be important to the team.
